A complete launch campaign for a new film. How do you promote a film in a way that gets people to actually go to the cinema?
Making a great film is only the first step. People need to see it. MARODON built the complete marketing ecosystem for the new film and launched targeted local campaigns to drive awareness and bring audiences to cinemas.
Everything the film needed to launch
We turned a completed independent film into a complete nationwide cinema release campaign.
The production company received one recognisable promotional system ready for television, YouTube, cinemas, outdoor placements and print.
- A film logo and complete visual identity.
- A dynamic teaser for television and YouTube.
- Animated 3D elements developed in the title style.
- Cinema, outdoor and print posters.
Good footage does not fill theatres
The film was finished. The audience still had to be built.
The production company had a completed film and strong footage, but no campaign capable of carrying it into a nationwide cinema release.
As an independent production, the film had to compete with major studio releases backed by much larger marketing budgets. A trailer, poster and online advertisement made separately would make the release feel fragmented and smaller than the film itself.
The teaser also had a difficult dramatic job. It had to introduce a story about love, betrayal, revenge, friendship and passion, create tension immediately and make people want to watch to the end without giving the film away.
- Build an audience for a film that was already complete.
- Compete for attention with releases backed by larger studios.
- Keep one recognisable identity across every promotional format.

The whole release around one recognisable idea
Every asset became part of the same campaign, from the first moving frame to the last poster.
We shaped the teaser through dynamic, dramaturgical editing: building momentum, revealing the relationships and raising the stakes so every beat created a reason to keep watching.
At the same time, we developed the film logo, the gold visual language and animated 3D elements built in the title style. That identity was then carried through the teaser, cinema and outdoor posters, print and every promotional format.
We developed the complete promotional identity from the ground up and applied it consistently across every audience touchpoint.
THE SAME FILM, DIFFERENT CREATIVE APPROACHES
For each promotional channel, we prepared the messaging, creative assets and ready to use promotion mechanisms. Media buying through our partner network and offline advertising became much easier once the complete promotional ecosystem for the film was already in place.
The film was ready. We made the release ready too.
Have the film but not the campaign?
We build complete release systems: from identity and advertising teasers to nationwide promotion.
